This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and no analytics. Nothing is loaded from other companies' servers: no external fonts, maps, videos or scripts. That is why you will not see a cookie banner here. The only thing kept on your device is a single note that the short intro animation has already played, and it disappears when you close the tab. I only process personal data if you choose to write to me.
A data protection officer is not legally required for a business of this size and none has been appointed.
This website is hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you open a page, Netlify processes the technical data needed to deliver it. This can include processing on servers in the United States.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in providing this website securely and reliably. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Netlify, and transfers to the United States are based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
The host automatically records the access data your browser transmits:
This data is technically necessary to run the site. It is not combined with other sources and is not used to identify individual people.
The domain and the email address for this site are provided by IONOS (IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany). If you send me an email, it is transmitted and stored on IONOS servers so that I can receive and answer it. IONOS is based in Germany, so no transfer outside the EU takes place for this. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR.
If you write to me using the form on the contact page, the details you enter are transmitted to me and stored. These are:
The form is handled by Netlify Forms. Submissions are stored in the Netlify account and additionally forwarded to my email address. A hidden field is used solely to catch spam bots and is not evaluated in any other way.
The purpose is to answer your enquiry and to prepare any work that may follow from it. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract or performing one, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Your details are kept until the reason for storing them no longer applies, that is, once your enquiry has been dealt with. Statutory retention periods, in particular under commercial and tax law, remain unaffected. You can ask me to delete your data at any time.
If you email me directly instead, the same applies to the details you send.
This website sets no cookies. No analytics services, advertising networks or social media plugins are used, and nothing you do here is recorded or profiled.
There is one small exception, and it is worth naming plainly. The short logo animation that plays when you first arrive is meant to be seen once, not again on every page you open. So that the site knows it has already run, your browser keeps a single entry in its session storage:
It contains no personal data, it says nothing about who you are, and it is never sent anywhere. Only your own browser can read it, and it is gone as soon as the tab closes. Nothing else is written to your device.
The typeface used on this site (Quicksand) is served from this website's own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts, so no IP address is passed to Google.
Some pages link to Instagram and to the websites of the people I work with. These are plain links, not embedded content. No connection to those providers is made until you actively click a link. From that point on, the privacy policy of the provider in question applies.
This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security. You can recognise it by the https:// in your browser's address bar. This means the data you send me cannot easily be read by third parties.
You have the right at any time to:
An informal email to marina@studiostichfest.de is enough.
If you believe that the processing of your data breaches the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for Baden-Württemberg is:
Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, baden-wuerttemberg.datenschutz.de
