This is who I am, why I sew, and what you can expect when you commission a piece.
In 2021, after finishing my bachelor's degree, I was gifted a sewing machine. And it was definitely not love at first sight.
Starting felt scary. But I quickly learned that fabric is patient. It forgives. It lets you try again. And again. And again. Failing suddenly felt more like learning, and mistakes turned into creative freedom and flexibility.
And most important: I kept going.
And before I knew it, I had been pulled into the flow of creating. My creativity started moving and never really stopped. One project led to another. A bag for a friend. A pullover for myself. A jacket for a request I almost said no to.
Seeing people happy with something I had made with my own hands, and hearing them ask for more, made me start thinking about taking the next step and building a business.
stichfest grew out of all of that.
It's not a brand in the traditional sense. It's one studio, one maker, and the slow, honest work of turning fabric into something that lasts. The name reflects what I want every piece to be: well made, reliable, and created with care.
What I love most is creating one-of-a-kind pieces and turning someone's idea into something they can actually wear. There is something special about taking a thought, a sketch, or a vision and bringing it to life through fabric.
When you buy from stichfest, I want you to know that everything is made by me, with intention and attention to every detail.
